Your eSIM is live and ready to connect. A small monthly connectivity fee keeps your line active on the network. You only pay for data when you actually use it abroad.
Suspended
Free for 3 months
Not travelling? Suspend your eSIM in the app. The first 3 months are completely free. After that, a tiny 10p/month admin fee is deducted from your existing balance.
Sleep
£0/month
Your eSIM is dormant with zero charges. This happens automatically when your balance runs out during suspension. Simply top up any amount to wake it up and go Active again.
What happens if I stop travelling?
Suspend your eSIM
Tap "Suspend" in the app whenever you're not travelling. Your £1/month fee stops immediately.
3 months completely free
No charges at all during the first 3 months of suspension. Your credit stays untouched.
10p/month from your balance
After 3 months, a small network admin fee of 10p/month is deducted from your existing balance. No card charges — it just ticks down slowly.
Balance runs out? eSIM sleeps
If your balance reaches zero, your eSIM enters Sleep mode — no charges, no expiry. Whenever you're ready to travel again, just top up and you're back online.
24-month inactivity policy
If your eSIM doesn't connect to the network for 24 consecutive months, it will automatically enter Sleep mode and any remaining balance will be recouped. To avoid this, simply power on your device with the eSIM occasionally — it just needs to register with the network once within any 24-month window.
